Our Roots
Our story begins in the kitchens of our parents' restaurants and takeaways. Both our families emigrated from Hong Kong as teenagers and brought with them a love for food and community. Growing up, we spent countless hours helping out, surrounded by the rich, aromatic flavors of traditional Asian cooking. While our friends might have been eating sandwiches, we were munching on dim sum, noodles, and dishes that felt like home to us.
We never planned to go into the food trade ourselves, but weekends spent cooking for friends and family soon sparked a love we couldn’t ignore. Traveling the world gave us a taste for different cultures, but we kept coming back to the flavours of Asian street food—it’s where our hearts truly belong.
In 2014, we settled down in the vibrant East End of Glasgow. This corner of the city is a true melting pot, filled with people from all walks of life, and we love the energy, warmth, and diversity of our neighbourhood. Every day, we’re excited to share our passion, meet new faces, and hopefully bring a bit of joy through our food. We're grateful for all Glasgow has given us, and we look forward to giving back, one smile (and bite) at a time.
